Privacy policy

This policy explains how Lean Analyzer (“we”, “us”) handles personal information on leananalyzer.com, in the customer portal, and when the Lean Analyzer desktop app contacts our license service.
Lean Analyzer is a desktop application for time study, layout editing, and work instructions. Study files, video, and shop-floor documents stay on your workstation. This site does not upload them.
Who we are

Information we collect
Account
When you register, or when a subscription creates an account for you, we store:
- Name and email address
- A hash of your password, not the password itself
- Account status, and short-lived tokens for email verification and password reset
Contact form
If you write to us, we receive your name, email, optional company name, topic, and message. The form uses a captcha stored in your session only long enough to check the submission. Messages are emailed to us; we do not add them to a marketing list.
Subscriptions and licenses
To provide a license we store:
- License key, plan, status, start and expiry, and how many workstations may be activated
- Lemon Squeezy subscription and customer identifiers, billing interval, renewal time, and a link to the customer portal
- For each activation: a hardware identifier (HWID), optional device name, app version, last seen time, and the IP address of the activation or license check
The hardware identifier binds a license to a workstation. It is not a government identity number. You can remove an activation from the customer portal.
Desktop app
The installed app can ask our server whether a newer version exists. That request may include platform and the version you are running. We use it to answer the update check; we do not build an advertising profile from it. Time studies, video, layouts, and work instructions are processed on your computer.
Technical data
Our web server and application logs may record IP address, browser type, date, and the page or API path requested. We use that to keep the service reliable and to investigate abuse.
How we use information
- Create and secure your account, including sign-in, email verification, and password reset
- Issue, renew, and revoke licenses, and limit activations to the workstations allowed by your plan
- Send service email about your account or subscription
- Answer contact and support messages
- Operate, protect, and improve the site, portal, and license service
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Payments
Subscriptions are checked out with Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the seller of record for the payment. Lemon Squeezy collects the billing details needed to take payment, including payment card data. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Lemon Squeezy notifies us of the subscription so we can create or update your account and license. That notice includes your name, email, and subscription status. Their own privacy policy describes how they handle payment data.
Cookies
We use one essential session cookie (__Host-LICSESSID on the public site) so you can stay signed in
and so the contact and registration forms can check the captcha. The cookie is HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite=Lax.
It lasts for the browser session.
We do not set analytics or advertising cookies. Blocking the session cookie will stop sign-in and form captchas from working.
Who we share information with
- Lemon Squeezy, to process subscriptions and send us license status
- Our email and hosting providers, to deliver messages and run the site
- Authorities, when the law requires us to disclose information
These providers may process data in countries other than yours. We share only what is needed for the purpose above.
How long we keep it
- Account and license records for as long as the account is open, and afterward as needed for support, disputes, and legal duties
- Activation details while the workstation is activated, and for a limited time after you remove it, to handle support and misuse
- Contact messages for as long as we need them to respond and keep a support history
- Password reset tokens for one hour
- Billing event identifiers so the same subscription notice is not applied twice
You can ask us to delete your account. We may keep a minimal record where we must, for example to show that a license was issued or to meet tax and accounting rules that apply to our payment provider.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask us to:
- Provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct it, or delete it when we no longer need it
- Limit or object to certain uses
- Send you a copy in a portable form, where that applies
Email info@leananalyzer.com to make a request. You can also update your password in the portal, remove a workstation activation, and cancel a subscription from the Lemon Squeezy customer portal. If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Turkey, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children
Lean Analyzer is a professional tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
